Envisioning Change is an interdisciplinary project that explores creative ways of visualizing sea level change in and around Casco Bay, Maine. The project began in 2013 and is ongoing. It focuses primarily on a 200-year period from 1900 to 2100 and observes and records impacts of sea level change on the region. Envisioning Change engages artists, scientists, community members and students in collecting, processing and distributing data.
The project is connected to DIGITAL MAINE, a University of Southern Maine Digital Humanities initiative that is working to create digital repositories and distribution systems of Maine-based research and creative work. For more information please see the links below.
