Abstract
This project aims to overhaul the laboratory experiments from the electromechanical and electric machinery portion of the EGN 329 class. The overhaul will include new, online lab manuals, new and updated experiments, as well as an emphasis on an engineer focus. This will update the circuit diagrams, information, steps, and outcomes to be engineer focused, as well as encourage critical thinking. In addition, the lab manuals will serve as a skeleton and guide for lab reports, with a template layout within the manual, and prompts to guide the writing where applicable. In addition, the new lab manuals will be delivered through an online format that allows students to complete the questions, outcomes, and ultimately the report, through real-time online collaboration.
