This publication is a statistical review of reported motor vehicle crashes that involved bicycles in Maine during the five-year study period 1996 - 2000. The statistics are compiled from crash reports submitted to the Department of Transportation by the Traffic Division, Department of Public Safety. The Traffic Division receives all police uniform accident reports Form 13:20 A, from state, county and local police agencies.
