Abstract
This report provides a case study of Asset Mapping in Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Hancock counties. The report looks at population level data to examine the social and economic determinants outlined in previous Place Matters reports, combined with qualitative research which engaged community stakeholders with local expertise and experience in order to explore the community assets and factors influencing youth trends in the area. The report highlights area asset’s and identifies opportunities for further investment in the region.
