This monument is located in the garden of the Maine Jewish Museum, the former Etz Chaim Synagogue located at 267 Congress Street, in Portland, Maine. It was founded in 1921 as an English-language synagogue, and was converted into a museum in 2010. The memorial, honoring Maine Jewish soldiers who were killed during WWI and WWII, was dedicated in June of 2014.
