Format: Record Book Structure by Heidi Kyle with Japanese Noble Binding

Medium: Watercolor, pencil, ink, waxed cord, watercolor paper, writing paper, and Shizen paper

Artist statement: This book contains a selection of the flowers I came across this sumer. The goal of it is to remember this year and the specific moments over my summer when and where these flowers were found. By cutting them out, I hope to make them appear like a cross between a real flower and a painted recording of one, to represent the real moment and the fact that it has passed.
