Format: Accordion book with pop-ups

Medium: Watercolor, pen, markers, and card stock

Artist statement: This three panel book depicts the rising sun in panel 1 and a lobster boat setting out to sea. In panel 2, the sun is high in the mid day sky and the lobster boat is checking traps. Panel 3 shows the setting sun and the lobster boat heading home (in particular it shows the boat motoring past a channel marker buoy).
