Monument Description
The Eliot, Maine, World War One memorial is a rectangular granite tablet with an ornate bronze plaque listing the Honor Roll of those who served in the Armed Forces during the war. The monument features a sculpted eagle, patriotic shields, a border of laurel leaves, and a frieze of men fighting at the top of the plaque. The monument is flanked by large shrubs and small American flags.
