Abstract
In the United States, we have started to noticed a increasing general fear and distrust in our government, and in particular with voting. People are afraid of what will happen if they lose their right to vote. People don't know what the government is doing, nor do the common people know who is supporting them; people simply have lost faith in our government. But this issue is deeper than simply putting more cameras in the white house. We need to change our education system. We need to complete a remodel and reform early education in the United States. If we shift the focus from STEM and start to focus on more social science work or humanities, then we will be a more educated society. People need to learn the way the world works, and not just in the United States, and we need to do this young to get kids questioning the world around them and their government. And this needs to be standardized by the government and then by the state to make sure that the children are being educated on everything that they should. ALso by having education standardized and by adding regulations, we will be able to take some of the power away from the family and give it back to schools. Education is the only way that people will understand the world around them, and if they are educated and know their rights, then they will want to make a difference, increasing and strengthening modern democracy in the United States.
