Maine Gay Symposium, later known as Maine Lesbian and Gay Men's Symposium or similar variations, was a conference of LGBTQ+ activists and organizations which occurred annually from 1974 to 1999. The first conference was organized by the Wilde-Stein Club and held in 1974 at University of Maine Orono, as was the 2nd conference in 1975. Subsequent conferences were held at university and college campuses throughout the state and organized by various organizations.
