Abstract
This testimony highlights the personal fears and experiences of those living in a society where mass shootings occur frequently, especially those who have loved ones attending schools. The testimony is educational and works to highlight important information and statistics regarding mass shootings and the criminal psychology of mass shooters. This work supports the non-profit organization "The Sandy Hook Promise" and identifies many warning signs associated with mass shooters in an attempt to educate the general public and encourage them to speak up if they see something.
