Geo. E. Norris, the artist in town and village sketches, was in town Friday delivering his photo-gravure sketches of this village. The work is a very excellent one and is favorably commented upon by all who examine it. It not only shows our village architecture accurately, but reproduces the fine surrounding country and scenery in a manner to make a very attractive picture. It is a pity that this work could not be made available in reduced size, and at such prices as would enable citizens to make use of sketches in sending them out freely in enclosures accompanying letters of business and personal correspondence. It would be an excellent and very useful medium of local advertising.
