Description of City/Town
There will be quite a building boom at Livermore Falls this season. The Baptist Society are soon to commence operations on a $2500 parsonage. George Wheeler of Farmington contemplates the erection of two dwelling houses on the new street which has been laid out between High and Pleasant Streets….Albion Record talks of putting in a paper mill next summer. Should he do this paper could be manufactured here at a very low cost….The Umbagog Pulp Company are soon to put in another large pulp machine. Something in the way of improving the water power at Otis Falls will probably be done next year.
