Maine Lesbian/Gay Political Alliance (1987, 1991-1995)

Maine Lesbian / Gay Political Alliance was published by the Maine Lesbian / Gay Political Alliance in Hallowell, Maine. The date of the first issue is October 1987 under the name of One Potato, Two Potato. The name changed to Capitol Notebook in 1993 before reverting back to Maine Lesbian / Gay Political Alliance. The date of the last issue is unknown.

Mission Statement: “The development of "WHO WE ARE AS GAYS AND LESBIANS" in the eyes of greater Maine is taking place on a number of fronts, one of which is the on-going work of the political alliance. We have a commitment to working within the political system of the state in order to educate and lobby the state government, the legislature, the governor and the public at large on issues that are important to our community's needs.” - Vol.1, No.2 (September 1991)
