Included are letters from: Camille Lessard Bissonette, a journalist, author and suffragist; Jean-Baptiste Couture, newspaper publisher and state legislator; Rosaire Dion-Levesque, poet; Adelard Janelle, unofficial Lewiston city historian; JoAnn Lapointe, co-founder of the Centre d'Heritage Franco-Américain, now the Franco-American Collection; and former Maine governor John Reed. Also included are letters from various community and arts organizations.
