In this session I will discuss the ways in which I reached out to faculty and students as a new subject liaison for the Maine Business Schools. I will discuss both classroom strategies as well those designed to engage faculty. Both require a certain finesse, engaging faculty in particular can be a delicate balancing act of managing personalities and expectations. Engaging students in library resources, services and information literacy requires a high degree of specialized knowledge and I would argue emotional intelligence (EQ).
