Abstract
“Vacationland,” one of the State of Maine’s unofficial
motos, adorns license plates, road signs, and
welcomes visitors as they travel to enjoy the region’s
natural wonders. Vital to the tourist experience
are services provided directly by servers, baristas,
receptionists, hospitality workers in addition to cooks,
janitors, housekeepers, and public employees in state
and local agencies..."
