Description

Bath Hebrew Ladies Society (1945) (American Red Cross) The Bath Hebrew Ladies Society was a women’s organization, made up of members of the Beth Israel Congregation (originally, Base Isroall), an unaffiliated synagogue, serving the Jewish community in Bath, Maine and vicinity. The American Red Cross provided this list of acceptable gift items that could be donated to the Army, Navy and Togus (Veterans facility in Augusta, Maine) during World War II.
