Description
My artist book sincerely concluded the entire dilemma of finding a cure of my heart condition. I share my personal strengths and weaknesses inside of this story and I also showed commitment through perseverance, persistence, and determination to find my cure. This story encapsulated the way I viewed life before versus now. Experiencing a condition where many physicians were confused at times has shown me to not take one minute for granted.
Delving into this artist book, you will notice the design is very strategic. I shared an outline of my entire story, a statistic of my heart rate(s), and many artistic designs throughout the book. On the first two pages, the gray water marks are there to represent teardrops on a page. I shared this piece of art because I experienced extreme sadness when I had to lose the pride and joy of my life. You will notice, throughout the book the teardrops are no longer there. That is to represent how I healed my heart through time and I learned life lessons and found joy in many other things.
During the making of this book I had time to reminisce on this traumatic time of my life. Being able to make a story out of this for others to read gives me hope for someone experiencing a similar situation.
