Wood and metal plaque featuring the seal of Maine Maritime Academy. The plaque reads, "Maine Maritime Academy Alumnus Award presented to Kenneth M. Curtis Classs of 1952 in recognition of his leadership, accomplishment and outstanding service in the pursuit of pricate and public affairs performed in a manner exemplary of the highest traditions of distinguished citizenship and the objectives of the Maine Maritime Academy Castine, Maine".
