Le Messager was a French-language newspaper published in Lewiston from 1880-1966. It was started by L.J. Martel and Co., and publishers and editors included Jean-Baptiste Couture and Louis-Philippe Gagné. It was widely read in the Franco-American community of Lewiston-Auburn.
