Abstract
By comparing ski resorts to other industries, such as beach resorts, infrastructure, and live events, this study aims to establish a foundation of understanding for ski hills. Through an analysis of data collected from state-level data breach lists and corporate filings required by the SEC, the study utilizes this broader scope to identify the primary cyber concerns facing the ski industry. The study aims to identify the unique cybersecurity challenges faced by ski resorts and compare them in terms of security concerns with those in large-scale events and the tourism industry.
