Abstract
This occupational therapy evidence-based capstone project was completed in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of the University of Southern Maine Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate. The purpose of this capstone project was to assess the effectiveness of executive-functioning-based Tier 1 Response to Intervention groups, led by an occupational therapist, with students who may have Adverse Childhood Experiences in kindergarten. It includes an introduction to the project, a review of the existing literature, the project plan and implementation, results, and evaluation of the project.
