Abstract

This webinar featured findings on HIV prevalence and maternal hepatitis C in U.S. rural areas based on research conducted by Dr. Ahrens of the Maine Rural Health Research Center. Ms. Burgess, also of the Maine Rural Health Research Center, discussed findings from a qualitative study on the the challenges and promising practices of rural public health in addressing HIV and hepatitis C.
