Abstract

Abstract: Annette Dragon is a photographer and activist who documented the movement for queer rights in Maine throughout the 1990s. The Papers contain files related to the publication of the lesbian and gay newspaper APEX, photographic prints, materials related to Dragon’s March 2000 exhibition "Act Up/Fight Back/Take Pictures,” documents related to the 1995 anti-gay referendum, general files and correspondence, local and national LGBT publications, and VHS cassettes holding clips of local/state/national news and other programs.
