Boulder with small bronze plaque.
This unassuming monument is an unfinished piece of granite with a very small plaque dedicating the park to Leroy A. Allen, who was killed in France in July of 1918. A smaller plaque below the original was added to honor 1st Lt. Roger F. Woodbury, who died during WWII in Italy in February of 1945.
