This is an oral history of Nancy Dymond, the first African American teacher, born in Maine. The audio-visual recording was a zoom public program offered by the Eastern Maine Community College in February 2021 as part of Black History Month. William Cook, who was managing the EMCC library and teaching history, implemented the program.
