Monument Description

This is a bronze statue of Lady Victory, holding aloft two lit torches. It was erected in 1939 and dedicated to the soldiers who fought in World War I.

Comments

Tefft, the Sculptor, was from Brewer, Maine, and is most famous for his state of Hannibal Hamlin in the US Capitol in Washington, D.C.
