Abstract

In this report, the MUSG offers recommendations and a timeline for necessary administrative actions to be taken by the USM President, Provost, a new MU senior leadership officer, Deans, and the steering group, itself. Budgetary recommendations address resource needs to achieve Carnegie Classification in 2020, as well as the MU-related needs of the new senior leadership position, students, faculty, staff, and community. These total some $125,000 in one-time expenditures and $925,000 in annual operating costs, the latter possibly to be diminished by reallocation of savings realized through the UMS’ newly-centralized administrative services.
