As an EDA University Center, MCBER is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration Technical Assistance Project and the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine. In addition to this ongoing support, MCBER receives funding through grants and contracts from other public- and private-sector organizations. We prepare and inspire current and future leaders and stimulate economic growth by providing quality learning opportunities, valuable research, and professional service, all in partnership with the business community.
