Bath Historical Society Newsletter Number 104 (2010) “A Bath Family” by Sandy Whiteley. Harry Brown was a founding member of Beth Israel Congregation (originally, Base Isroall) in Bath, Maine. Harry and his wife, Celia, had five children. They included David Brown, World War II correspondent for Reuters and Minnie Brown, whose estate allowed for the purchase of a building that is used for the Hebrew School as well as other functions.
