B'nai B'rith Women (1950-1970) B'nai B'rith Women was a women’s organization, made up of members of the Beth Israel Congregation (originally, Base Isroall), an unaffiliated synagogue, serving the Jewish community in Bath, Maine and vicinity. Officers included Ruth Silverman, Sophie Mikels, Iona Prawer, Gertrude Kramer, Ada Greenblatt, Sara Smith, Belle Levine, Ticky Levine, Janice Povich, Rixie Goldstein, Goldie Povich, Eleanor Prawer, Marilyn Prawer, Diane Moyer and Shirley Smith.
