Beth Israel Sisterhood (1963) (Jacqueline Kennedy) The Beth Israel Sisterhood was a women’s organization, made up of members of the Beth Israel Congregation (originally, Base Isroall), an unaffiliated synagogue, serving the Jewish community in Bath, Maine and vicinity. This card was sent from the office of Jacqueline Kennedy as a response to the condolence card that was sent by the Beth Israel Sisterhood after the death of John F. Kennedy.
