Description

Beth Israel Congregation on Its 50th Anniversary by Dorice Povich Mensh (1972) (cassette tape [original], digital audio recording, transcription) Dorice Povich Mensh was a lifelong member of Beth Israel Congregation and daughter of Nathan Povich, one of the founders of Beth Israel Congregation (originally, Base Isroall) in Bath, Maine. This presentation was given to the congregation as part of the “Golden Weekend” celebration of the 1922 opening of the synagogue.
