Abstract

With the rapid growth of online education and its expansion towards a global market, it has become crucial to explore the expectations and needs of potential learners to enable educators to better anticipate their wants and be more successful with their educational offerings online. Cultural context plays a very important role in understanding the expectations of students and to provide insights in how to address their needs. Thinking preferences have also shown to be of great importance when explaining behavior which will impact how students will likely interact and participate online.
