Abstract
A collection of short stories from a variety of perspectives told in diverse landscapes: the jungle, the desert, an island, the mountains. Each story explores how a place impacts and defines a person and how new and extreme external settings give access to an internal self. Through emotions, drama, and conflict, these characters struggle with shifting identities and complicated relationships that bring about psychological turmoil.
