Abstract
Reach for Me is a memoir about my life in Paris working as an au pair circa 1993. After college, I moved to New York to pursue a career in publishing. Three months later my mother died. Unable to process my mother's death; I quit my job at Viking/Penguin and moved to Paris to work as an au pair. Shortly after I arrived in Paris my employer started a high-class prostitution service.
