Monument Description
This granite monument with a bronze plaque honoring those citizens of Gorham who served in the war was dedicated during the Town of Gorham's bicentennial in 1936. It is located in Phinney Park, which was named in honor of Gorham's first settler, Capt. John Phinney. The land was given to the town by the Gorham Library Association.
